RMH Compass solves this.
Their framework bridges the gaps in employee support by giving employers the tools to strengthen care, communicate those wins to their team, and turn workplace benefits into a powerful engine for recruitment and retention.

What business challenge does RMH Compass address?
HR and benefits leaders often struggle to balance competitive talent attraction with strict cost controls. RMH Compass provides the strategic roadmap and executional guidance needed to identify and implement high-ROI reproductive and maternal health (RMH) supports that align with the needs of top talent.
How does RMH Compass assess employers’ existing reproductive, maternal and parental health support?
RMH Compass uses a holistic, first-of-its-kind performance framework that assesses an organization's health benefits, employee policies and workplace accommodations to identify gaps and uncover “hidden” value. It’s a low-lift process for employers – just fill out a brief intake form and upload your documents, and they will do the rest.
What value does RMH Compass bring to the table?
There are 4 clear ways RMH Compass adds value:
Maximizing existing benefits investments: Even when benefits exist, a "complexity gap" in documentation and a lack of clear workplace policies often prevent employees from using them. RMH Compass has identified "hidden" benefits for ever company they’ve worked with — benefits already included in existing health plans that are undocumented. They help you surface these to ensure you are getting the full value of the premiums you already pay.
Preparing for broker negotiations for Open Enrollment: RMH Compass provides the technical data points your team needs to negotiate more effectively with brokers, ensuring your plan design is both competitive and cost-efficient.
Identifying no-cost improvements: RMH Compass always finds small opportunities to enhance or design better workplace policies, like including pregnancy loss in bereavement leave benefits (as one example). These are usually no-cost "policy tweaks" that enhance the worker experience.
Get the Recognition You Deserve: RMH Compass helps employers develop a powerful narrative to share how they're uniquely investing in the health of their workforce. This ensures that the business case is made -- translating into higher retention, productivity and talent acquisition.
Does improving RMH support require a massive budget?
No. The RMH Compass approach specifically identifies low-lift, high-impact improvements and low-to-no-cost changes. They focus on incremental, sustainable progress that optimizes your existing health plans, policies, and physical workplace environment.
What happens after we get the assessment and insights from RMH Compass?
The Insights Report is just the beginning. RMH Compass will provide you with strategic recommendations – primarily no-cost policy changes or no- to low-cost benefit enhancements – along with the tools and resources to help with implementation. RMH Compass usually works with employers over a multi-year basis, to continue activating them to pursue best-in-class health benefits and policies for their workers. Many of those companies become certified as RMH@Work Leaders.
What are RMH@Work Leaders?
RMH Compass launched its RMH@Work Leader accreditation in 2025 as way to recognize employers who are meeting a high standard of reproductive, maternal and parental health support in the workplace. This accreditation helps high-performing employers build competitive advantage — sending a clear signal to current and prospective talent that they’re invested in the health and well-being of their workers, families, and communities.
What kind of impact has RMH Compass achieved?
In 2025, their assessments uncovered "hidden" benefits for every employer they partnered with – allowing 41,000+ employees to access enhanced RMH support. Additionally, 80% of the companies they worked with implemented one or more of their recommendations, giving 15,000+ workers direct access to new and better RMH benefits and policies.
What’s the cost?
RMH Compass is a philanthropically-funded 501c3 and currently there is no fee for our performance assessment, strategic insights, or implementation support. RMH Compass will transition to a fee-for-service based model in Fall 2026.
