RMH Compass Survey

The RMH Compass Survey is the first-of-its kind assessment and benchmarking tool that establishes a comprehensive standard for measuring workplace reproductive and maternal health (RMH) benefits. Employers complete a free, online diagnostic that measures performance across four principles of their RMH benefits programs, including:

  • Comprehensive reproductive and maternal healthcare coverage

  • Flexible and supportive workplaces

  • Employee-first communications and data protection, and

  • Values-aligned political giving.

Benchmark Report

After completing the RMH Compass Survey, participating employers receive immediate performance feedback, including percentage of points earned on the survey and aggregated benchmark insights.

RMH Compass is committed to providing accurate benchmarking data for all companies. Currently, we are collecting data from companies to build out these benchmarks. In Fall 2024, companies can opt for a customized benchmark report showing their comparative performance against relevant benchmark groups and highlight specific policies and benefits where improvements can be made.

RMH@Work Corporate Index

The RMH@Work Corporate Index is the first-of-its-kind performance standard focused exclusively on reproductive and maternal health (RMH) benefits provided by the largest employers in the U.S.

The RMH@Work Corporate Index is changing the benefits landscape by creating a clear understanding of what best-in-class RMH benefits look like. Using the RMH Compass Survey, we evaluate each employer using publicly available data and then invite them to complete a full assessment. Using a standardized benchmark, the RMH@Work Corporate Index is published annually to celebrate employers who are leading the way for the future of workplace RMH benefits.

The first RMH@Work Corporate Index will evaluate the 100 largest U.S. employers and is expected to be released in September 2024.

RMH@Work Leaders

Companies that meet a high-standard on the RMH Compass Survey can demonstrate to their key stakeholders - workers, prospective employees, customers and investors - that they are industry leaders.

In early 2025, RMH Compass will launch the RMH@Work Leaders badge. This badge will be available to all employers that meet a high-standard on the RMH Compass Survey and complete our validation process. RMH@Work allows employers to differentiate themselves as committed to protecting and supporting the reproductive and maternal health of their workers.
